About Me
Hello Everyone! My name is Kenkoy, I'm a Chinese-Filipino American Voice Actress based in South Texas. I began my voice over journey a little later in life back in 2016, but better late than never! I started out auditioning for various casting calls and voiced in a variety of fan projects and machinimas. While voice acting is my primary focus, live acting was the catalyst that introduced me to the world of Fine Arts. The majority of my live acting background was geared towards UIL Competitions, University Student Plays, and Short Films.Before the Pandemic, I was fortunate to work with No Gravity Media Studio as their Lead Actress for a Dramatic Mockumentary-styled short film The Getaway: The Disappearance of Marcus Cross in the Cinesol 36hr Film Race in 2019. The team's submission not only won Best Film but numerous other awards as well, including Best Actress which is something I never dreamed I could achieve to this day.Right before Lockdown, I was able to participate in the Short Film Fat Belly as their Lead Actress and provide ADR in the project. It was nominated for 3 Film Festivals, one of them being the Austin Micro Film Festival in 2020 where I was a finalist in the Best Actress category. Even though I didn't win in the end, I was happy enough to work with talented and kind people during such a dark time. Which in turn, encouraged me more to pursue voice acting professionally during a period where we all had to work remotely.Throughout my time in voiceover, I was able to work in a variety of video games, commercials/advertisements, audio dramas, and indie animations. I've been so honored to work with so many talented creatives along the way and I hope we have the opportunity to work together in the future!

Kenkoy was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her acting prowess surpasses anything that I was hoping for in her performance to the point where if at all possible I could have had her play off herself and just use her for two different roles I absolutely would have. Having worked with her in the past I knew already that her performances were wonderful, but being able to see her change with each character that she portrayed and how she was able to grasp right away how the character should be portrayed and move was both refreshing and welcoming during production. Thus allowing for less time to be spent on how the character should behave and more on how to make the scene feel more natural and less scripted.
